I just emailed Chase that our policy is HO-3 and therefore should be underwritten as a SFR although technically classified as a condo.
 
Don't think they can under write it as an sfr but they should know it's a free standing condo with no shared walls so the Hoa doesn't have coverage over it other than surrounding common areas.

Finally emailed my mortgage servicer a copy and paste of the above yesterday. Just got this back from them:

We have updated your file to reflect the correct insurance coverage.

The requirement for a Master Condo policy has been removed, you should not
receive any further correspondence regarding this matter.

I apologize for the confusion.    Thank you for making us aware of the
problem so we could get it corrected.
