Go on ND, I'm not the one saying this, just relaying information from people that actually live in those neighborhoods regarding odor and sound.  I'm too lazy to provide screenshots.  I just glanced over the thread, PS, Stonegate ND users said they heard the noise too, but someone in a GP hood said they could barely hear it.  Music issue was started ~5 days ago by a Woodbury owner, Asphalt thread was started a couple days ago from an Eastwood owner.  So what you're saying is GP supporters moved into TIC neighborhoods (even the old ones in Northwood) to start rumors.  ;D

Asphalt smell is really starting to sound like something GP's marketing came up with to compete against TIC. The smell might be from the new constructions and road builds, not from the factory that's miles away. Everyone knows villages that's much closer to such factories and they've been saying no odor at all.

Woodbury East could be affected by the concert noise since it's right next to GP, but hearing FivePoints concert from Northwood is a bit of stretch. Maybe it was a neighbor playing music loud. Wind travel to deliver noise to further villages but nothing on GP is not really an accurate analogy in terms of the sound frequency.

Or paid actors.  ;D

Most garages don't have insulation so they get much hotter than the house. Heat rises, thus rooms above a garage also get hot.

Not sure how that is set up for condos above garages... may have more insulation and ventilation.

not to mention you're putting 1-2 200deg machines in an enclosed area with no ventilation

if you live in a condo and really hate your neighbor, just run your cars with the heat on for 5 mins every couple hours in the summer  >:D

Sure, but we notice this even if the cars haven?t been used since the day before.

North. The entire room is basically above the garage. Only room in house that is entirely above garage.

Yep. Get the south facing. Most homes have multiple directions facing, but make sure you get your bedroom and living/yard are south facing.

how about your water heater?  does the flue/vent go into the walls or through the floor?

No idea about water heater.

I will say I don?t think it?s related to any of that, cars, water heater, etc.

We can all be out at Disneyland or something since the morning, no cars in garage, just a big empty space. Come home at 8pm and that room is easily 5-10 degrees hotter than anywhere in the house. It honestly feels hotter than the garage itself. Seems like it?s very common. I?d assume it?s some combination of poor insulation and the garage acting like an oven since it?s enclosed.

I'm telling you. If it's facing north and there is a window at west, it'll cook whether there is a garage below or not.

The windows all face north same direction as garage. One small window to west, but it?s blocked by tree and part of neighbors house.

maybe this is your problem

Smart ovens have been turning on overnight and preheating to 400 degrees

At least three smart June Ovens have turned on in the middle of the night and heated up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit or higher. The ovens? owners aren?t sure why this happened, and June tells The Verge that user error is at fault. The company is planning an update that?ll hopefully remedy the situation and prevent it from happening again, but that change isn?t coming until next month.

One owner?s oven turned on around 2:30AM and broiled at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for hours while he slept, and he only noticed when he woke up four hours later. Nest cam footage captured the exact moment it turned on: the oven illuminates his dark, empty kitchen in a truly Black Mirror-like recording. This owner says his wife baked a pie around 11:30PM the night of the preheating incident, but she turned the oven off once she took the pie out.

The June Oven debuted in 2015 as a $1,495 countertop oven that uses a camera and computer vision to identify food that?s been placed inside. The company raised nearly $30 million in funding and released its second-generation version in 2018 for $599. It?s billed as ?seven appliances in one?: an air fryer, dehydrator, slow cooker, broiler, toaster, warming drawer, and convection countertop oven. It also pairs with an app that allows people to choose their temperature and cooking settings, as well as live stream their food as it cooks thanks to the built-in camera.
