I like Johnny Benson, but Hornaday losing that championship makes me think there is no God. Or at least he hates folks from Bakersfield.



In other news, <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/rpm/racing/indycar/news/story?id=3622661">Helio is going to trial (and likely jail) in March, and PT still has no ride.</a>

I used to watch Hornaday race at Kern County and Orange Show in Southwest Tour and Late Models.



Too bad Newman passed Ron on the last lap for the win a couple races ago. That cost Ron 15 points and he lost the title by 7.



IMHO the trucks were the best of the 3 series as far as racing and championship chase excitement.



Harvick and Hornady are good old west coast boys who "done good"
