2 Black Dudes from Compton caught burglarizing Irvine Home 11/17/16 1:30PM

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Most burglaries happen during the day time - if you read that press release, you'll notice that in this case the call came in at 1:30PM. Of all the things, just having someone in the house is probably the biggest deterrent. It also helps to know your neighbors well so that when they see something out of the ordinary at your house, they'll be suspicious about it.

True - which is why if you're in Irvine a lot of your neighbors must be home all the time. On our street I would guess at least 50% of the homes have at least one person home all day. And I LOVE my next door neighbor. Not only is she a stay at home mom but she notices EVERYTHING. She would be the best CIA/FBI agent. So I guess, get to know your neighbors and if you trust them definitely let them know if you're going on vacation to keep an eye. multiple layers of security and most people are fine. It's just most ignore those precautions because they feel "safe" in Irvine which is false security.

IHS LOL! It helps to be "brown".
