I wonder why TIC didn't build a shopping center dedicated to Portola Springs village when most of the other "villages" have dedicated shopping centers within the communities. Woodbury Town Center is starting to get overcrowded.
 
FivePoints is developing a shopping center at Great Park, it will be near the ice rink. That should help a bit with the crowds at Woodbury.

Haven't been announced yet and we realistically wont see the development completed until late 2025. FivePoints is historically not a huge fan of big name retail so it will be interesting to see what tenants they put in there. Based off of proposed city plans it looks like it will be two larger stores and multiple sub tenants. (Click Here) for a quick 2 min video on it.

Maybe they’ll throw in an Erewhon and Whole Foods

They axed that idea to build the school. TIC doesn't seem to care about residents having enough retail in the northern part of town.
 
Stopped by yesterday. Sales office intro’s with “hello, half the lots are sold.” Lot map shows all the good ones are gone.

3 story feels very tight. TB offsets this with floor level windows, floating stairs, etc. Sides are just the gate now, so about 3 ft.

I haven't had a chance to check them out yet, but do they look similar to Alara in Altair with how tight the lots are? There's virtually no privacy because of how large the homes are versus most of the lots and the walls seem to be lower. It's even worse for the homes that back up to the three story ones.

We looked at Alara when it came about. If I recall, the standard lot size was 5700sq ft.

Sales said these are 3600 sq ft, yikes. At least they have driveways...
