Parts do feel more ghetto than they used to be. I noticed all kinds of strange characters walking across the Irvine Center Drive 405 overpass the other morning. I don’t understand where these people are coming from and where they are going. The apartments at Spectrum and Los Olivos are super expensive so I would think most people walking around there have jobs.. or are there a bunch of “affordable” units or halfway homes in the vicinity?

As the saying goes, common sense isn’t so common. Maybe they were tired of living a life of crime and they wanted to be punished for their crimes so they can come out of prison guilt free and start a new life and become contributing citizens of society

Back in the 90's when I lived in Buena Park, I had a next door neighbor with a troublesome daughter who got into drugs. To get money she was posting notes on the supermarket's notice/bulletin board (those large brown boards outside), advertising herself for a "good time". Needless to say she was caught quickly and sent to some reform institution.

But this was a teenager on drugs who didn't know better. You'd think a 51 year old pimp wouldn't be so stupid as to distribute fliers in the same HOA community advertising "good time" with "description of avail females":

We saw the arrest happened at where the Magnolia model home used to be at. We saw the flier distributed around the neighborhood and didn't think it was real, thought it was just some teenager prank. Who knew the pimp was so bold and stupid.

Now come think of it, I should invite qwerty to a special open house in Cypress Village. ;)
