Soft open special! 16 oz Kirin draft for $2! and free noodles refills!
Was surprised by this place, think it's actually Japanese owned. Wait was around 20 minutes on a Sunday night, seating for two is easier at this place, not that big. Wanted the tsukemen, but they ran out, wanted fried rice but they ran out. Growing pains. They seated a table of five behind my chair so now its butt to butt with my new neighbor, problem is it's where the server brings the hot bowls of ramen thru. Nice choke point you guys created for yourself. So now the servers have to go sideways while balancing the bowls of noodles. Had to google injury attorney on my phone in case they drop that hot soup in my lap.
It tasted decent, still prefer Santouka in the Mitsuwa food court or even Yamada-ya in CM. The shio tonkatsu broth is actually not bad. They forgot my wife's crunch roll, it came as dessert. But none of these complaints mattered: my picky kid ate more than me, and that has never happened before. We're gonna be back, but maybe after they stop building obstacle course for themselves. Did I mention the Kirin Draft is $2? Cheaper than ordering a pitcher. And if you want more noodles, it's free refills, but just noodles no extra broth, you just dump the new noodles into your old broth and go at it.
