I just came across this website. http://www.youwalkaway.com/index.html
It appears this is a new company (based in San Diego) that sells "walk away" kits to distressed homeowners. I think the kits provide information on recourse vs. non-recourse loans, the foreclosure process, ways to improve/manipulate credits scores, bankruptcy, etc.
I am certainly not performing stealth advertising for this service -- so please don't flame me. But I do wonder if services like these will dump more foreclosures on the market more quickly. As frequently discussed on the Blog and in the Forums, I have to imagine that for some people it is more beneficial to walk away than to continue to pay into a rapidly depreciating home. Thoughts?
