Anyone have any insight into the following development. They just sold out of their current phase and will be putting up more properties. These homes are detached, but are in a courtyard layout.

The 1906 sqft home was going for $599k, with a ton of upgrades thrown in. The tax credit and using their lender would drop down the price.

Thanks.

I used to live 1/2 mile down Fairmont from these. I might just have to check them out at lunch someday. Are all 3 models built/open? Plan 1, cottage style looks nice to me.

I noticed that sales of these units have risen along with the new Yorba Linda High School Construction. This school will be in high demand by parents, as soon as the boundaries were set a couple of weeks ago I noticed some existing resales in the area tried to up their home sale prices slightly and changed their ad to read "in the new Yorba Linda High School boundary" and properties in Eastlake appear to be slightly down in price. Could be a coincidence, but this city is very "school location" driven. When I sold my home nine months ago there wasn't one person who came through who didn;t ask about the school and many wanted to know if our home would be in the new high school boundary.

I drove through this area last weekend. It seems really nice. However I do have a few concerns. This area was open land before right? was it not supposed to be a buffer zone between wildfire and the older homes there? The santa ana winds comes through anaheim hills/yorba linda into the coast communities so the winds are stronger here. Fire concern anyone? and I noticed its near an oil field? I'm sure there are other members here who know more about this development but that's what I noticed while driving through it.

My buddy Nathan is laughing in his grave. Use the search button and look up my old posts on Shapell and his strategy in Yorba Linda.
