Yet another Tesla Model S crashed while in auto-pilot mode in California

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
The most interesting part of this story is the conspiracy theory post that someone mentioned:

"Interesting that the California Highway Patrol has no record of this accident or an Arianna Simpson, nor does the Los Angeles Times.  Low-hanging power lines from creosote poles were banned over California interstates in 1986, interesting photo. Also Utah vehicles are required to display front license plates. Something's not right with this whole story, especially the multiple, varying dates given by different blogs and NO photos of the other vehicle."

Just not safe using it especially when other cars are not on autopilot.

TSLA didn't go down, actually gained a few bucks.  Latest story I read is that the truck driver states the Tesla dude was watching a movie?  How could he tell?

Here is a police diagram of the accident scene. How can you not see a big rig crossing in front of you unless you aren't looking? Supposedly the safety camera got fooled by sun glare and the elevated white siding of the trailer. Tesla should upgrade their radar and camera technology out front.

Screw electric and self driving cars....I'll keep driving my gas polluting combustion engine cars until I can't drive anymore.

It's so sorry but more and more people I meet these days buy nice sports cars in automatic tranny.  They say they don't know how to drive a manual.
