Woodbury Square Apartments. Visited some recently for some relatives and I could not believe that lack of sound insulation between the units. Are all Irvine Apartments like this? They live in a unit with people above them and people below them. One night, when we were visiting, the upstairs and downstairs neighbors had their tvs/stereos on pretty loud. The place shook from all the bass. Also, there is pergo in the kitchen. The upstairs neighbors were leadfoots and my uncle's kitchen vibrated everytime the upstairs neighbors walked in their high heels. What a joke. Is there any cement between the units? My relatives live in the top of the line apartment in Woodbury Square. Also, the dumpsters are always full and people in that complex appear pretty trashy. I saw a sofa sitting out on the street next to one of the dumpsters. I could not imagine what it would be like to live on the 1st floor. No elevators, by the way. These apartments are built in the same fashion as those on Irvine Blvd at Jamboree Blvd. I think the third floor people get some silence. Also, the bedrooms, you hear your neighbors conversations, with your windows closed. In addition, the washer dryer are located in your unit. If a neighbor decides to do their laundry in the middle of the night, you hear the hum all night. My uncle has told the front office about this. He wants to move to his new home as soon as it is finished in construction. I would not recommend these places. I think all Irvine Company apartments are of the worst construction, anyway.
