Woodbury East - Celadon

Woodbury East is going up on the other side of Woodbury, between Sand Canyon and the 133. IIRC, there was to be some, or primarily, "affordable" housing there.





The first development is Celadon, by John Liang. I recently got an e-mail that said the townhomes were sized from 1,611 - 1,731 square feet, and started in the "high $500,000s." Doesn't sound very affordable (or worthwhile) to me, especially at ~$363 per square foot.

How do you know for certain that Celadon is part of affordable housing development? Is there a website link?

<p>I'm not sure if Celadon itself is to have any affordable units, but I happened to catch part of a city council meeting on TV in '03 or '04 where the City was reviewing the proposed development plan for Woodbury East and there was a lot of discussion about affordable housing and placing a fair amount at WBE.</p>

I received a postcard a couple of days ago saying that the models should be open at the end of July.
