Any thoughts on buying window treatments as an option with the house from the builder versus having the installation done after closing? Is pricing comparable?  Any recommendations for dealers/installers?
Many thanks.

A lot cheaper to do it after closing.  Go to www.blinds.com for the best pricing.

Instead of created a new thread with the same name, I will bump this thread.

Anyone have any new suggestions in the past 3 years?  I will check out blinds.com as noted by USC.

Anyone else have anything?  Need something for the windows in our living room for some privacy.

edit: Mods, can you move this to another forum. I just saw that it was in Irvine Real Esate.  Oops.

Second blinds.com. They have coupon codes/sales all the time.  We did DIY cell shades through them.  We did the top down bottom up kind for privacy while letting in light at the same time.  Btw - I did get your PM. Need to go home and look at the condition to answer your questions :)

We have some of the top down bottom up cellular shades too. We used levolor.com through lowes.

Smith & Noble is great if you are looking for certain colors.  If you want inexpensive-  try paylessdecor.com.  They run sales everyday of the week.  We have both (cellular shades) and both have held up well.
