I just got this e-mail from Lyon. Hurray! With them on the case, I'm sure home sales in OC will skyrocket...

Let William Lyon Homes and Home Fusion help you sell your home!

If you have a home you need to sell in order to purchase a new William Lyon home you've had your eye on, we can help. Buying a new home on a contingency basis just became a lot easier with William Lyon's new contingency program. William Lyon Homes can now help you sell your current home. We'll even ensure that your home is priced properly, so that it sells quickly.

Here's how it works

To take advantage of our exciting contingency program, browse through our impressive variety of townhome, condominium and single-family home neighborhoods at www.lyonhomes.com/oc. Our homes are located in desirable neighborhoods throughout Orange County, always at a great price.

Pick out the neighborhood and model that fits your lifestyle and make an appointment to see the representative Sales Counselor online or by calling the community's sales center. Let your Sales Counselor know you're interested in assistance with a contingency purchase. It's that easy!

Sincerely,

William Lyon Homes

Okay, well my lifestyle is 20% down and 30% DTI (I make "average" income too), and my neighborhood is near the beach. Fix me up Bill!

graphrix - I didn't know that. I'll bet he also has one of the largest gardening bills. Do you think he makes a profit on those oranges? Farmland is taxed at a lower property tax rate than residential, I think.
