I've been watching too much Vanilla Ice and Rehab Addict. So lets have a little fun. Pick a property in Irvine that you think can be flipped for a tax free quarter million (or a half million). State your reasoning and also how you would do it. I'll go first

I would offer $998,888
Single level, needs updating, decent lot size with enough room for pool. Has recent comps to support a price bump after all the reno's done. I would add another bedroom with its own bath. New countertop, cabinets, flooring, etc. Too bad no view from the yard, I believe the odd homes here has views from the back. Google map shows lots of trees to clear out from the back slope. Not much to do with that, except clear out the overgrowth. So $50-60 k in upgrades, relist in month 22 at $1.3 million. Easy money right?
