Ten, wrote me this lovely letter on PM. He claims that he is a tall, great looking, athletic, and wealthy white guy, however I don't think anyone has ever met him in person. I am wondering if anyone has ever met him in real life??? That brother sure has a lot to live up to.

I asked Ten, that we should meet the next time i am in town and he says,

"Nothing against you or the others but aside from the Irvine Real Estate market I don?t feel we?ll have anything else in common.

That may change over time, we?ll see. "

Panda, interprets this as, "I am a stud, and you are a geek, therefore you and I have nothing in common, therefore there's no reason to meet."

Ten's PM:

I?m a tall, great looking, athletic, and wealthy white guy, what did you expect?

Silly Panda!

I appreciate your invitation, that?s very kind.

Since I?ve been a member of this forum I?ve received numerous requests from many to meet.

Nothing against you or the others but aside from the Irvine Real Estate market I don?t feel we?ll have anything else in common.

That may change over time, we?ll see.

It?s been a pleasure interacting with you, good luck and hope you achieve your goals!

If anyone has ever met Ten in person, please tell us if he is the REAL DEAL OC SUPER STUD that he claims to be.

Curious Panda

Methinks the gentleman (ten) doth protest too much.

Real dudes don't have to repeat how studly they are,

they just are.

Panda, have you lost weight?

Yeah, matter fact i weighed myself at 174.8 lbs this morning from 183 lbs since i first made that other post. I hear the first 10lbs are much easier to lose than the second 10lbs. Thanks for asking though. I've been taking the health advice from all the health nuts on this forum. OC people definitely knows how to stay fit.

Now who has met Ten in real life?

Panda

yeah, that doesn't make a lot of sense. I'm a 'real deal oc stud' and I don't have any problems meeting any of you in real life, scheduling conflicts aside. *shrug*

Panda,

Unless the guy was kidding or is accidentally guilty of writing a very badly phrased PM, anyone who intentionally writes a letter like that isn't worth the time to find out who he really is. It doesn't matter what the guy looks like, a guy like that ain't worth much.

Congrats on taking better care of your weight! Although it sounds like you were in good shape to begin with with all your running :-)

I dunno, 4 walls. My standards are impossibly high, of course. Just how good looking, tall and rich are we talking about? Is he just comfortably well off, or obscenely wealthy? Does he fly commercial? Shudder. Does he have to wait 2 months to get a table at the French Laundry? Or will they seat him right away?

And are we talking stunning good looks, or just reasonably attractive? I've got my doubts about the athlete claims, as he rides a cannondale and doesn't come out for 7 C's adventures. At least he graduated from USC, so we know he's well-educated!

Not that I'm the hugest fan of Ten's....but Panda.... aren't PM's supposed to be just that ? Private?

Aside from that, is anything happening with the sale of your Chi Town place ?

C'mon Trooper, Panda is just trying to have some fun. My mission is to find Ten the next time i visit Irvine and report my findings on the Irvine Housing Blog. I'll also post up a picture of Ten and we'll have all the ladies on the IHB rate Ten's looks as rating 10 means: Super ,Duper ,Incredibly, Sizzling HOT Good Looking (True Lady Killer Looks) or rating 1 means: You are seriously freakin Butt Ugly.

Regarding my Chi Town place, the market is dead! I mean really, really dead. I might as well give away my house for Free. Man, I wish Panda had the luck of Mr. IPO., I really really feel sorry for the poor knife catcher who just bought his house as it will tank to the low $400k level in the next two years. Poor knife catcher.

Actually, I don't think the sale of Ipo's townhouse was luck. I think it was priced right, staged well, and marketed well. Ipo and IR2 sold the property - not luck. :coolsmirk:

Ten, this what Panda looks like in real life.

Wow! That is some photo. I'll have lunch with you, Panda.

IIRC, Ipop knows ten personally.

I doubt ten is anything like he says. My speculation is that he would say he uses a persona for fun or a joke, but it is actually a cover for real deep seated insecurities and a poor self image. Two or three posts are a joke. A continual and time consuming development of an alternative personality is a disorder.

Wow, looks like Panda took rejection personally.

*low self-esteem alert*

Didn?t know that politely declining to meet with someone was a serious crime.

My pm to Panda was to inform him about the comment I posted referring to him as a ?tire-kicker?, and nothing more.

There were no overtures of friendship, nada, zero, zip.

Panda responded to my pm with his ?curious list of questions?.

Asking me if I?m asian or white, where I live, whether I?m in a relationship or not, etc..

He ended his post by telling me his real name and inviting me to meet him next time he comes to Irvine.

If he?s an honest Panda, he?ll admit I never asked a single question about him nor do I remotely care.

Sorry, but I stick by my words, Panda and I have zero to nothing in common besides Irvine Housing Blog, therefore I don?t feel compelled to meet or be-friend you.

I tried to tell you in a polite way and as you can see from my comments I said it was a pleasure interacting with you and even wished you success in achieving your goals.

I do wish you the best even though you decided to air a confidential message in public.

You should give the good folks here at the IHB the whole story rather than trying to discredit me or whatever the point of your starting this thread was.

Ten, bro lighten up. I did ask you if you are asian or white, but asking you where you live and if you are in a relationship or not? Are you kidding me? Do you think Panda is some gay asian guy looking to hook up a new white boy friend in Irvine? I would of taken a rejection seriously if my wife turned me down on a date during my single years, but taking a rejection from Ten personally?? You've got to be joking me!. You need to get off your high horse.

Panda.

Wow, really nice, Ten :-P

No, me either, Skek. It was the way that it was said that wasn't so nice but, for some reason, this doesn't surprise me.

Panda was just being Panda - no harm, just friendly. Too bad it wasn't seen that way. Maybe he's a bit over-eager at times, but that's just the way he seems to be. That doesn't make rudeness ok.

High horse, what are you talking about?

You're the one that started this thread in the first place

I was very polite and responded to your curious questions and even wished you well.

If you don?t care then why did you bother asking, revealing your name and invited me to meet up with you in the first place?

I never said or made one derogatory comment about you at all in that pm.

Nor did I ask you one single question about yourself.

Yet, taking this into a public forum, start a thread claiming I called you a geek and that I?m a stud is utterly ridiculous.

That? your interpretation, maybe you need to check your inferiority complex and fragile ego Panda.

Stop re-living your past.

This isn?t high school where you were picked on, and teased by the popular kids.

No need to play the role of victim here on the IHB, unless you?re starved for attention or need approval from people this forum to feel like you belong.

You?re attempt to discredit me in order to boost your own self-image is totally lame.

Last time I checked, you?re the one that asked all the questions, I politely responded but Panda didn?t like my response and wanted to share his frustrations with the IHB members.

Hoping for some group therapy, maybe the IHB group hug?

[quote author="skek" date=1219102885]This post is quickly becoming surreal. But in any event, let's keep PMs private, and not share others' personal information on the forums. Skek, you're right. I will cool it down a bit.
