Yes there is one there but not the one depicted in the photo.

Hmmm...well, the only other one I know of is on the toll road....and I don't think that is the one in the picture, so I'm out.

How many obelisks are in the City of Irvine? and where?

I found two so far (same as CK).

Irvine Spectrum Obelisk, California

Quick Description: A commercial obelisk for the Irvine Spectrum Mall in California.

Toll Road Obelisk - Irvine, CA

Quick Description: This 105-foot Obelisk located off the 241/133 toll road interchange is really a disguised wireless communications facility.

I forgot to give out hint by using the Irvinite language. It is equidistant from one Target and one Costco. The polygon form by the 3 points is very close being an isosceles triangle.

BK, i'm thinking but I can't figure it out.

The Spectrum Obelisk is equidistant from the spectrum target and the spectrum Costco.

Maybe all Obelisks in Irvine are just markers for target and costco.

Cameray PM me the right answers for both #18 and #19 last weekend and She does not want to spoil the trivias for everyone.

Too many Costcos and Targets in Irvine? Getting too confusing? How about equidistant from a Daphane and McDonalds. Better yet It is equidistant from 2 different Albertsons. It is also equidistant from several different IACs.

Using my psychic powers... is it near a Starbucks?

Wow, your psychic is very good. It is also near a lot of Asian residents. Across the streets are many houses with garage at the front.

My mother once said "I can't read English and I need to remember my route and find my way back by a set of landmarks".

When there are repetition of landmarks then finding the location would be difficult.

It is extremely difficult to descibe the location when a city was based on a template my mother and Tmare would be running into each other forever.

Yes even a few obelisks could be confusing too.

Here is another hint: If you did not see it because you were speeding.

Did you see this today in Sherman Oaks along Dicken Street? Hint

Bk, that comment makes me wonder.... how long until all the road signs in Irvine are written twice - once in English & once in Chinese / other language? Do you think it would ever happen? (Like English & French in Quebec.)
