During the WPA movement Aldous Huxley wrote his The Brave New World in 1931. He also planned a landmark project near the Irvine Ranch and was opened shorly after the WPA era. The location is still one of the many well kept secrets near the Ranch.

I have advance Google fu skills and have trouble sleeping at night sometimes (Ha, ha). I worked with a gal at Toyota (she lived in RSM) and I remember her mentioning the monastery. This is the first time I've decided to check it out.

I went visited here today. Well worth the trip. We hiked the shrine trail but I could not find a trail up to the chapel picture above. Bk, do you know if the chapel is open to the public?

The website doesn't say anything about the Chapel, though. The hill that lead up to Chapel was fenced off.
