Well...Location is often tied with school district.  $/sqft is definitely tied in.

What's the different between interior design and layout?

For me, it is:

Location, location, location
School district
interior layout
lot size/location.

3 car wide garage.

#dropsthekeyboard

Come on, there's no 3 car garage for detached condo  ;D
List your ranking plz
Actually, Laurel in Quail Hill has a detached condo with a 3CWG (a few with a driveway).

Location first... then probably interior layout.

House Location
Specific Schools (not so much the district)
Interior Layout (maximize space / Size - enough for growing family)
Lot Location / Size

There's 2 detached condos in the same location

(A) is surrounded by houses and the front is motorway. It has a really nice interior and layout. $/sqft is 8% more

(B) only has a house beside it and the front is the motorway, 2 other side has no houses(end of street), it has a alright interior but layout is kinda not as nice. $/sqft is less.

Which one will you choose?

Would spend more for the interior as that's where you are going to spend most of your time.

He narrowed his choices down to 2 so it's pretty specific already.  I'd pick B with the info you have given.  Less homes surrounding your home is better.

Can you make the interior/layout of option B nicer?  That 8% difference in $psf can be tens of thousands of dollars so if you could do some renovations to make B nice like A, then I would pick B based on its location.

It's the layout of the house, so you can't change it. They are both pretty similar, just that (A) from the front door you see the kitchen island, and (B) from the front door you see the living room. I prefer (A). which one do you prefer?
