The other day as I came home from work I received a letter in the mail addressed to a different household with my address on it. It was an advertisement trying to sell the owner a copy of the grant deed for their newly purchased home. I thought, hm...a little strange, must be a typo and sent to the wrong address.
Today I search Zillow and Redfin, both sites list my exact address as recently sold for 646,000, Zestimate shot up to $500,000 because of this.
Was there a transfer of records done and this typo in the address was continued through? Or should I be expecting Mr and Mrs. so and so to be knocking on my door soon asking for the keys.
