I have only lived in Irvine a few years, but... What are some small businesses that you often visit? I would like to see/try something new. List them... I may just go and support them especially if its food places. Food places, toy stores, candy places, pet shops... whatever, share your experience.

i take my dog to the doggie spa on jeffrey and alton ralphs ctr. 10 bucks and you get to use their facilities, towels, and high-powered dryers to bathe your dog. and then you leave and let them clean up!

layer cake bakery on barranca at stonecreek center for the most awesome cakes and pastries.

darsh - I just googled Wheel of Life. I had no idea they were in that center off Walnut/Culver. I must pass by them a hundred times a year and never even saw the place.

Yippee, once I'm over this nasty flu, vegan Thai food here I come!

Car Wash - Jamboree/Main - only with the coupon though.

Hopefully all the soap water is being properly treated and doesn't go to the ocean. One of the reasons why I don't wash the car myself, don't want the animals to start drinking that water when it starts to flow from the street to the drain.

Dry Cleaners - Michelson/University - only with coupon though.

I love Pho Hanoi in the Trabuco Grove Center on Jeffrey--great place for lunch and they also have a sister restaurant in Tustin on Newport Ave.

Iva Lee's in San Clemente. A restaurant owned by a husband and wife and they take very good care of everyone who goes in there.

Supermex on culver between the 5 freeway and walnut, not sure what that shopping center is called. Although they do have 13 locations now, not sure if they would still be considered a small business in the sense being referred to here. Supermex has the best salsa ive had.
