I received this notice a while back, and registered. It turns out I have to travel this week and will not be able to attend.

Real Estate in 07: Bounce, Bust or Bottomed Out? The State of the Markets and What It Means for You! is scheduled for May 9 at the Doubletree Hotel Ontario at 222 N. Vineyard Ave. It will feature a lively discussion with real estate experts Robert Kleinhenz, Deputy Chief Economist of the California Association of REALTORS® and Chris Thornberg, an economist and consultant with Beacon Economics. The presentation begins with refreshments at 6:30 p.m., and the discussion will take place starting at 7:00 p.m. with a question-and-answer session to follow.

Mrs. SCHB and I attended a similar event a few years ago when Chris debated Gary Watts, which was the first I had heard of Mr. Watts at that point in time. It was very formative in firming up my opinions of the housing market.

Is anyone else able to attend? I would love a report in my absence.
