I am one of the older IHB contributors, at 53 I lived through the real estate downdraft that occurred in 1990. I was fortunate to buy a house in Irvine in 2000 and sell it in 2005. My children are out of the house, so I decided it was time to take an adventure, thus the plans to go sailing for a few years. By the way, the name of the boat, tugtub, is the same name as a company that I started with the profits from selling the house in 2005. www.tugtub.com.
