hi guy, I don't know much about connecting washer and dryers but I was told to replace them every few years. we are moving so decided to replace all of them in the new house. I purchased new fill hoses for the washer and new drain hose for the washer. I also got new vent hose for the dryer. I think I can reuse the gas connector for the dryer or should I buy new one??? All the hoses and connectors are about 3 years old.
What is interesting is that the hot fill hose goes directly from washer to the wall. But the cold fill hose goes into a "Y" hose into the wall. On the other side of the "Y" is a hose that goes into the gas dryer. Why does the gas dryer have a cold fill hose connecting to it?
