<p>VOC sent me an e-mail inviting me to their anniversary "party" on Saturday from 12-4. Alas, I have plans and can't go. If anyone is interested, it's vocparty.com. They didn't mention whether there would be refreshments, but I'm guessing that they will be passing out a lot of Kool-aid. The graphic on the invite says "#1 Best-Selling." What are they talking about??</p>
 
We're planning on going just to see. . . it's amazing how builders can spin things. . . Basically they're saying "we still have not sold all of our houses after 2 years of being here. . . plz buy some houses" I don't remember Woodbury having a 2 year "party".
 
There is also an insert in the Irvine World News section of the Reg today, with details on the party. Yes on the refreshments --- along with stuff like face painting and balloon artists for the kids. IMO, the "party" at the Tustin side of Grove sounded like the best one, if only because they were the the only one listing hot dogs on the menu. I'll be going by to stuff my face, get the daughter a balloon and some face paint --- and wonder to myself how much these places will cost at the 3 year anniversary party in 2008....
 
I think they did have a party, but rather than be obvious, the party was for the new shopping center "but stop by the model homes while you're here." Look! Face painting at the park!
