Violent crimes in Irvine are up in 2016 - FBI report

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
"In Irvine, which bills itself as the safest city in the nation, there were 74 violent crimes during the first six months of 2016 compared to 59 the previous year, the FBI report indicates. There was one murder in the city during each reporting period.

Kim Mohr, spokeswoman for the Irvine Police Department, said the jump in violent crime is ?incredibly small? when the increase of 9,000 residents is considered.

?It?s important to remember that we are still the safest city of our size (in the United States) for violent crime, according to FBI statistics,? she said. ?We?re considered a big city now, with a population over 258,000. However, the Irvine Police Department takes any increase in crime very seriously and is working diligently to safeguard the city.?"

This IPD spokesman sounds like the sales rep at a TIC model home. I guess a murder every reporting period is the new norm in Irvine.

No bars and closing all alcohol establishments after 9pm are deterrents to potential conflicts. Relocating the homeless population to nearby cities is another good tactic. Stopping cars with Mexican and black drivers also is a preventative measure. No strip joint venues and massage parlors are many ways the city are trying to eliminate the trouble makers in the city. A polite way to discourage the unwanted population is no more trailer park or limiting auto part stores. Strategic zoning and planning are clever way to selectively choosing the population with less propensity to committing crime.

Now the city needs to figure out a way to stop wives of Asian dentists from having affairs or they could just prevent the husbands from owning SUVs.
