I really doubt that this legislation is going to help 400k homeowners. You have to go full doc and qualify and only people who bought from 1/05 to 6/07 will this legislation will help maybe. This is a political stall tactic because of the election so it is out of the newspapers and congress looks like it is doing something. This bailout is a joke and the US taxpayer gets to pay the tab for predatory lending and greedy wall street... Dodd and Franks are tools.
