Turtle Rock without AC

I've been looking at properties in Turtle Rock and have noticed some have in their description :

Heating & Cooling

    Cooling Type: None
Heating Type: Central Furnace, Forced Air, Fireplace

I take this to mean, it has no air conditioner. Correct ?

So my question is, does anyone know if living in a home with no ac would be bearable in the summer ? ( I realize this is open to interpretation but asking anyway )

Is it possible to retro fit an AC to such a property ?

Depends on the individual.  Northeast Irvine is like literally 10 degrees warmer and only about 5-10 days out of the year I really needed AC, and then I hear my neighbors unit go on about everyday during the summer.

You can always put an individual unit instead of central air, I've seen some listings in turtle ridge like that.

Back before global warming you could go without AC in elevated Turtle Rock.

But in Al Gore weather, you'll need it more often not.

Most homes can be retrofitted with AC because they can use the heating ducts/vents but it varies by each house.

Presuming house has heating ducts / vents, you probably are talking somewhere between 5 - 15K. Know someone that just did it on a house built in the 70's in Irvine and cost was 6K (single story). They ended up replacing all the ducts and heater since you were talking original equipment...asbestos lined, etc. The range I'm giving you is the rough extremes from the various quotes they received.

Grand scheme you aren't talking huge dollars given overall cost of homes in TR.
