How about the CEO of Coldwell Banker? I personally think he is completely full of shit, but what do I know?

I think he is more full of crap then the Tan Man was during the height of the bubble.

How about "all of the above"? Most of these sources are probably skewed too far in one direction or the other. But a smart shopper would probably give some consideration (with an appropriate dose of moderation) to all of the opinions out there to get to the right answer.

They are still using that "Buy now or be priced out forever". It must work, otherwise why would they keep saying it?

I wanna puke.

As I understand it, this question pertains strictly to product knowledge and no other factors in buying such as timing or financing, correct? If that is the case then by far, my most trusted source of home product info is you, Bkshopr. I am not in the market for a new construction but if I were, ads, mailers, and glossies would have no bearing on me. I have used these online "classes" you have provided for a long time now to take my own notes and narrow down home choices. Bk is the first person I trusted to share my potential house choice with privately for feedback on the decision. There are, of course, other factors to consider but as for product knowledge... just Bk plus my own experiences visiting these places often and in person.

I'm gonna be butt hurt here, but here goes:

I am not a bear! I just don't want to overpay 200-400% for a house!

People, times are tough! Do not overpay for milk, er, well, anything!

I just finished a book on Social Media Marketing. The book makes the argument that people do find their most reliable information at sites like these forums. Also, conventional marketers do not know how to engage media like this one. Notice how we all react when someone posts spam in here.

I don't think you are a bear. I think you've got a wealth of knowledge about some pretty cool things. I also think you are frickin hilarious sometimes (like the bandcamp comment I just read).
