I am currently trying to rent out my condo and wanted to get some feedback on what the best approach would be.  I am currently only listing in Craigslist since it get a lot of views and the service is free.  Are there other free websites I should try?  However, in order to increase the exposure of my rental, I'm thinking about using a MLS Rental service as well.  Does such a website exist for CA?  I found one for east coast, but have not been successful in finding one that is licensed for CA.

For people who have rented out their condos, what has your approach been and what other strategies have you used that were successful?

In case anyone is wondering, my Woodbury condo (townhome) is 3/3/1592 sqft and I'm looking to get $2550 a month.  Any tips would be appreciated.  Thanks

I highly recommend finding a way to get it onto the MLS.  As a person who rents a privately owned condo, I had much better luck going to realtor.com or homes.com and finding rentals than I did on craigslist.  The only downside is you have to pay an agent to post the listing and then pay commission to the agent who finds a tenant for you.

There are also services like westsiderentals (i don't know what it is here in OC) that seem to work well for many folks.
