Now I know why the OC RE Forum I attended had people talking about Indianapolis. Their median home price is about 2x household incomes. Apparently it's not hard to find positive cash-flow properties there. I've heard the same thing about Rochester.

Ocala, FL is going to get slaughtered. That whole county is just grassy field. In spite of this, I've heard that a handful of dumbasses built some spec condos (and are now hurting big time).

2nd to last.. Ouch!

I don't know how seriously to take some of these lists. San Francisco has a median price $138k higher than OC yet it ranks 5 spots higher in terms of affordability. Sure, the median family income in SF is about $8k higher than OC. But how is that $8k extra income going to buy $138k more house?
