<p>Just wanted to thank you all for sharing your opinions, stories and advice. It's been very fun and somewhat addictive!</p>

<p>Anyway, as many of you know, I'm closing escrow soon and will be moving ... so no internet access for a few weeks! I know... sucks...but gotta prioritize and do things in order. I'm even taking time off work (about two weeks) to monitor all the contractors! </p>

<p>But, thanks again ... and good luck ... and I'll catch up in a few weeks! </p>
 
<p>I've been through this before. Gotta schedule Cox to come out the day after you get the keys. The computer, a few essentials, and the beer go in the very first trip.</p>

I used to develop lots for a retirement community developer. When these people moved into their new homes, they didn't care about phone service, they didn't even care if all their appliances were ready, but you needed to be very sure their cable TV was hooked up!





Congratulations on your new home. Enjoy it.
 
<p>LOL - we are moving November 1 to another rental and my husband wanted to make sure the cable guy was there on November 1. The appointment has been set, and I'm sure he'll want me to confirm a few days before. He hasn't asked me to do anything else - just make sure the cable is ready to go for his plasma. It's football season.</p>
