Taylor Woodrow merges with Morrison Homes

I got an email which said that the two homebuilders are now merging into one company. They are now known as Taylor Morrison.

Probably not. The Irvine Company controls all new house pricing on the ranch.

I personally think the Irvine Company controlling the prices is ridiculous...

The Irvine Company only uses the various builders as a means to sell their land. They could care less if the builders make any money or if they build there at all. The will not cave in to the demands of builders to make more money, but they will eventually cave in to the demands of the market if they want to sell any more of their land through home sales.
