Curious to know how many people do their taxes on their own.

Does going to professional tax advisor help?

Any recommendation on tax advisor who is really good at finding more savings.

What kind of savings are you looking for?
(Do you receive a W2 or 1099? Do you own your own business?)
 
W2 and stocks sales. Bought a home recently. I started with H&R block software online, but it shows I am in a higher tax bracket and looking for advice on how to maximize deductions.
e.g. What does it take to claim stock trading as business and how much benefit I could get etc.

Lot of great topics get discussed here. So hoping someone has a suggestion.
 
Stay under radar, I wonder if you claim that as a business, red flagged by IRS?  Not worth the potential headache.
