Survey says Irvine among best in U.S. for Hispanic entrepreneurs

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
I think that the data from the survey says that the best Hispanic entrepreneurs prefer Irvine.  How would Irvine magically churn out good entrepreneurs?  If someone makes a decent salary or runs a successful business then it's more likely that they'll live in a nicer neighborhood and bigger home.  The alternative is Santa Ana where there's a shooting a day.

I disagree. I think Dallas/Fort Worth would be among best in U.S. for Hispanic entrepreneurs. Purely due to 0 state income tax and pro-business environment. The largest outflow of Hispanics moving out of California are moving to Dallas, Austin, and Houston.

Qwerty, If you want to have best chances of success as a Hispanic entrepreneur, you want to move to Dallas/Fort Worth (Plano, TX area) not to Irvine. 0% state income in Texas vs 13% in California. No brainer for the Hispanic entrepreneur.

I can see the attraction for Dallas for why a lot of Californians would move there. Firstly, the location is closer to California, the weather is similiar in that the heat is more dry like the desert. Also the second largest minority ethnic group is hispanics for both Cali and Texas, where in the southern states, the second largest ethnic group are African American. Here in Atlanta, it does get humid in the summer, but the heat is nothing like what you would see in Dallas, Phoenix, or Vegas. The Spring and Fall weather is beautiful here in Atlanta with lots of green trees. The winter months of Dec and Jan is very mild here in the 40-50s. Last Christmas (Dec) was unusual where the temperature was in the high 70s on Christmas eve.

One major benefit that I love about living in Georiga is that tuition is free if your children maintains a 3.0 GPA.

Go Georgia Tech! :)

I like Texas for their stance on the Constitution and Bill of Rights, something Californian politicians and school administrators are lacking.

However, I have a long memory and, did not forget how some Texan bastards played us for $40-$45 billion  and bankrupted PG&E.
