Hi, my friend has a 3 beds, 2bath up level condo to rent in Woodbridge close to north lake, which local websites are effective to list the rental property, what the rent would be for 3 beds, 2 bath condo in central Irvine now?

Thank you very much!

If your friend doesn't want to use an agent to rent the condo, they can list for rent on Westsiderentals.com, craigslist, trulia, etc.  Your friend would be looking at a rental around in the mid $2,000s (I'd need more information to provide you a more exact range).

USCTrojanCPA, thanks a lot for quick response and helpful information. He just listed his property on Craiglist. Is the price in the right range? I am interested in buying an investment property in irvine as well (to prepare for my kid's college tutition :) ) , so I would like to see how his rental property performs.

It's in the ballpark, the rents range from $2,250 to $2,450 per month for his unit in Woodbridge.

If you are interested in buying a rental property in Irvine, I'd highly suggest a 3+ bedroom unit as you don't want to be competing against all of those apartments (I tell this to all my clients looking for investment properties).

USCTrojanCPA, thank you very much! My friend told me that his condo has 2 full baths and it comes with a washer/dryer/refrigerator, so he asks for 2500. It seems the rental market in irvine is very good and he gots several showing requests this weekend in few days.

Watch out for scams. People lift the ads off Craigslist/Trulia/etc and have prospective renters send a deposit out of state in exchange for keys to look at the place. Keep an eye out for duplicate listings (of yours) that may have a different phone number on them.
