Stonegate Cambria Property Tax Issue

So I know a few homeowners have this problem right now (these are phase 1 cambria stonegate owners).  We all prepaid a portion of property tax during our escrow - but IRvine Pacific isnt paying this amount to the OC Tax Assessor until April 10.  Our property tax bills are due March 31.  I am told that we just get credit towards the next bill. 

I was wondering if anyone else had this timing issues with new home sales and the first property tax bill?

April 10 is the last day to pay before you incur late fees. Those bastards are even greedier than I thought.

Taxes are paid by escrow not seller.
