Source for grass fed 1/2 steer?

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Anybody out there got a good, reliable and affordable source for 100% grass fed beef? A place that will do a 1/2 steer or half a half? (1/4). Dry aged, packaged for freezing, and do a scheduled local area drop or close enough to do a pick up?

Why grass fed?

I use Tony at Pomona Food Locker. I must admit, I could care less if the beef is corn or grass fed. He custom dry ages mine and butchers it in cryo-locs to whatever my wife asks for.

Most people buy a hind quarter, which reminds me. I'm almost out of meat.

Much like us, high intensity corn diets aren't natural for beef. The net result is meat that is fattier and the Omega 6/3 ratios are tweaked and has a less robust taste

The dry aging will help, but I'm thinking of going away from grain fed for a trial.

I appreciate the pointer to Tony. Dry age and packed is good too, it'll get the flavor back.

Everything you get will have been fed a grain diet while it was at the feedlot right before they slaughered it, no matter what it was grazed on up to that point.

Even if the cow spent it's whole life ranging on grass, the last thirty days are corn fed, no matter what they tell you.

IMO the aging is where the flavor is.
