First time having Venezuelan food... Fried green plantain sandwich was delicious but devoured before I can take a pic.

Oh, how was the flight?

Thanks for asking, it wasn't bad, she downed Ice Age 3 and half of Madagascar before knocking out for the rest if the flight.  No earache during the flight as well.  Highly recommend Virgin America, love the individual personal TVs.

Tip:  if they offer upgrade to main cabin select, do it, AYCE movies, food, drinks... We pigged out.  Upgrade was only $70 per person for us.

Good to hear... if you can keep the kids distracted until they fall asleep... you won't have to sell them for $5.

Another great Latin meal on our vacation.  Peruvian this time, no saltados though.  The skirt steak with chimichurri sauce is two thumbs up from me (I don't give those out that often).  Rotisserie chicken is their other famous dish but I still like Zankous.  Sangria was very delicate (high marks for the finely chopped fruits, made the drink easier).  Didnt try the fish, but others seem to like it.  Chaufa was ok, ordered for the kid, but she ended up eating calamari, fried pork, and get this.... SALAD!  Service was top notch, seems mostly locals in the restaurant.  A good change after a few days of boring Disney food (no more $4 corn dogs please).

Now I really want to try Peruvian food. So the fried rice is called Chaufa... hmmm.

If you're ever in the South Bay, check out El Pollo Inka, best Peruvian food I've ever eaten.  Okay well that's admittedly a small sample size, but the food there is delicious.  Lunch comes with a wonderful cilantro-based chicken rice porridge, rolls, and usually I would order "picante de mariscos" or "picante de carne".  I believe they had something called "chaufa de pollo" as well.  And don't forget the green sauce (forgot what that was called), it's heaven in your mouth!

Makes my mouth wah-tuh.
