Tucked away in the back corner of an old Tustin shopping center (Cream Pan!), this shaved ice place was a great treat for us this weekend.  They have the flavored ice so pick carefully.  Went with the passion fruit ice with rainbow jelly and a condensed milk drizzle.  Wife got coconut ice.  Texture of the ice was perfect, smooth and layered.  Great place for dessert after Honda-Ya, gotta walk off that pitcher of Kirin :)

Horchata shaved snow, almonds topping, condensed milk:  our new favorite :)

PS9 - I love horchata. Have some in my fridge now and more in the fridge in the garage.  Is this real ice? I read a yelp review that this is actually yogurt? What is the texture? I love regular shaved ice, is it similar?

Regular shaved ice, nice and fluffy.  The ice itself is horchata, so they shave a big block of that down, add some almonds and drizzle with condensed milk.  Great cinnamon flavor paired with toasty almonds.

Here's the $10 large plate.  Amount of ice varies depending who's making it.  If you get the Asian dude, usually get more than what's pictured above.  So it's half lychee ice with lychee balls and horchata ice with almonds.  A good drizzle of condensed milk on top.

The lychee on lychee is too much lychee, I suggest rainbow jelly next time.  Almonds and horchata is the perfect combo.  Our new favorite dessert place.

What's lychee balls?

Hey, not so fast, mister. If you think I do not know what lychee balls are, or even lychee for that matter.... if you think I've never had one, let alone know what it looks like, smells like, how you eat it, what you eat it with, or if it's a fruit or berry or other, well then let me tell you something Mister.  You are just undoubtedly, completely, absolutely, 100%....
Right.
