Shea Home is Joining in on the Party

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program

I went Shea Home's website just for fun and almost thought I typed in Macy's by accident (with the huge year end sale)

Check out the drop in prices. . .still too high though.

Wow, it's all out there on their home page. Prices seemed to have dropped quite a bit at their Vantis development in Aliso Viejo. Did any units really sell at the original price?

According to their ad plug in the New Homes section of the OCR a few months back people were camping out for Vantis. The thing that was funny is I think the picture they took was their employees. Now I want to see if I can find that ad.

Campers wait to get into Aliso Viejo’s City Walk

For Elizabeth Craven, who camped out for eight days waiting for the Residence Three phase release, City Walk in the “soft urban” community of Vantis in Aliso Viejo was the fulfi llment of a lifelong dream.

The neighborhood’s live-athome/work-at-home designs offer an opportunity to have a studio, home and workspace under one roof. Presented by Shea Homes, City Walk is designed especially for entrepreneurs who want to streamline their personal and professional lives.

Once I discovered City Walk, I instantly fell in love with the Residence Three. There was a lot of interest in this particular floor plan, and I was not willing to miss my opportunity, so I spent eight days camping out before the phase release. I have absolutely no regrets, and I am just thrilled with my decision,” Craven said.

Craven, an interior designer and artist, felt that City Walk offered an ideal venue in which to open her own gallery. The Residence three offered the most square footage for my money, and the layout was very conducive to my business needs. The abundance of wall space, openness and beautiful living areas is everything I could have ever hoped for. When I open CC Fine Art this summer at my City Walk home, it will be the culmination of a lifetime of personal goals,” she added.

City Walk is within Vantis, a master-planned community in Aliso Viejo branded by it developers as “soft urban.” Also selling within the community are Latitudes South and Latitudes North.

The community was recently nominated for a prestigious Major Achievement in Marketing Excellence award as Best Master-Planned Community of the Year. From its blufftop location above Aliso Viejo Town Center, homebuyers are encouraged to tour the models, learn about monthly mortgage-payment options and ask about Shea Homes’ “Customer Choice,” a menu of money-saving offers available for a limited time.

EvaL - I thought the goatee might throw you off. You know I had to get in before I was priced out forever. With such a large crowd there I knew that I had to be one of the first ones otherwise I would have to wait until the next phase with higher prices. That is because every phase the builder always increases the price. I mean I'm entitled to that instant equity since I camped out. I'm not sure if I will keep it. I may just flip it and sell it for a bajillion fiat dollars because it is almost worth that already. Those that are being discounted are just in bad locations and have views of the 73 and mine has a view of Aliso Creek road. Thats why I paid $100k more for the site premium. If you want one you better hurry because with this sale they are getting tons of traffic and are selling fast. I think only 348 of the 360 units are available. Don't get priced out forever because real estate always goes up. You do want to live the dream of homeownership don't you? The dream of a "urban" crackerbox condo in Aliso Viejo right next to the 73 with ridiculous HOAs and high Mello Roos is what people dream of for a home. Bajillions of people want live here and they are not making anymore land. I don't even want to tell you about all the rich foriegners paying in treasury bills that are buying there. Rich foreigners know that OC real estate always goes up.
