I didn't know SFRs can have zero lot lines. I was looking at a property in Woodbridge.
Anyone can tell me if this is a bad area of woodbridge since its near a bunch of condos?http://www.redfin.com/CA/Irvine/20-Shooting-Star-92604/home/4689906

I noticed that the next house sits on the edge of the lot. i.e I can touch the wall.  Is that bad for resale?
Many of the smaller SFR homes have zero lots lines in Woodbridge.  As for this particular home, it is outside of the Yale Loop and it backs up to Irvine Blvd, both things that will count as a negative to perspective buyers.

Woodbridge has bigger issues to worry about.

I had a zero lot line home in Aliso Viejo.  It was categorized on the books as a condo but it was detached.  Looking back, I don't think I would buy a zero lot line again.  It's a personal choice.  I don't like the idea of having to ask my neighbor for permission to enter their yard to do something like powerwashing the wall.  I had great neighbors so it wasn't an issue but I can see how it could get uncomfortable if you lived next to someone you didn't like.

Nevermind, the listing agent wants list price because a buyer paid close to list price, but fell out of escrow due to financing.  Its only been on the market for two weeks so lets wait until it drops......but its Irvine, someone will probably pay close to list price.
