A man followed a woman around a Ralphs grocery store in Tustin and then to her home, where he attempted to sexually assault her, police said Wednesday.

Tustin police released this image of a man wanted in an attempted sexual assault that occurred Feb. 24, 2016.

The crime occurred Feb. 24, according to a crime warning from the Tustin Police Department.

The victim was shopping at the Ralphs at 13321 Jamboree Rd., and surveillance video captured her attacker following her around, police said.

The man, described as white and 20 to 30 years old, then followed her home and tried to sexually assault her. The woman said the man approached her from behind and grabbed her around the waist area, according to police.

She resisted, struggling with the assailant, who fled in his vehicle. The car was described a silver Scion two-door coupe.

The attacker was about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build and curly or very short brown hair, police said.

It was not clear where and what time the man approached the victim, or how far he followed her for. Police did not provide a location or time for the assault.

You guys disappoint me. While I am a Tustin resident I still frequent the Ralph's on culver/walnut in Irvine. You guys don't really expect me to shop with real Mexicans do you :-)
