Securities class action settlement claims

Pretty straight forward question

Do you take the time to complete the claim forms for the security class action lawsuit settlements you get for those occasional loser positions you held. More importantly are you getting any money back.

I'm reading the most current one and it boils down to about $0.52 per affected share before lawyer fees, taxes and interest and pays out on a pro rata basis with the gotcha being no payouts of less than $10

An estimated 43 Million share affected in the class.

I guess it depends on how many shares you held.  I received a settlement award not related to securities and ended up owing taxes on it even though it was deducted on the distribution.
