I get a sense that most people here on TI are always looking for some deals - ways to save $$ - some good tips from their fellow neighbors.

Anyone care to share some of the best deals they've gotten through a service - maybe we can all benefit from it.  :)

It can be related to real estate, home services,  restaurants, entertainment etc.

This place is awesome:http://www.yelp.com/biz/thuan-kieu-noodle-and-grill-irvine?osq=Vietnamese+Food

For $6.50 (Daily Special) you get Chicken/Rice (really good broken rice BTW), soup, salad, 2 big eggrolls.  They say on the menu that it's for Dine-In only but every time I call and ask them if I can order it to-go/pick up they let me.  It's a ton of food and really tasty/good quality.

It's definitely worth a try and no more than a fast food combo meal.

Just got this at Target:

They're having a Home sale with $15 off $75 coupon here:

and stackable with cartwheel 20% lightning coupon:

So total with my Redcard (additional 5%) comes out to around $80 for the floor lamp.  This deal can be applied to other Lighting products, but floorlamps would be the easiest since it easily satisfies the $15 off $75 coupon with just one item.

Been eyeing this lamp for awhile, reviews are decent online.  Funny thing is online they sell a version that is without the CFL bulbs but at $100.  Seems like a better deal, except you can only use cartwheel in-store.  So you're basically getting the same lamp in-store but with the extra CFL bulbs included.

I kinda like it but it looks a bit odd at the same time - can you post a pic of it in your house?  Thinking of getting one for my office.

If you guys are previous military and have your military ID ALWAYS ask for a discount whereever you are...
http://www.bradsdeals.com/blog/military-discounts

Amazing how many places offer military discounts including home depot and Lowe's 10% off on everything
This might make qwerty mad. :)

Why is that? My husband is a Military veteran so we find the discounts really useful.

Because I'm a CPA and CPAs don't get there own cemetery  or discounts :-)

Except for farmers insurance. They do have a CPA discount

Lol my husband is now a CPA so I should tell him about the farmers discount too. Would appreciate more CPA discounts if you know any...

I know cpas aren't as appreciated but who's the last CPA you know that lost their life or limbs in honor of their country :)

Any TV deals?  Looking for a 65-70" tv.

Black Friday Amazon lightning deals, have your phone with you at all times.  And check slickdeals.net frequently.

If you can't wait, here's a Vizio 60':
http://www.amazon.com/VIZIO-E600i-B3-60-Inch-1080p-Smart/dp/B00GTE0VJ6

$20 off for Prime members.

I got the older model (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009H8JOZS/) for $688 during Amazon's BF deals (11/27 lightning deal).  If you're not in a rush, just wait for BF.  My price target would be around $500-600 for a Vizio 65-70"

If you want a 70" the one you want to wait for is the new Vizio 4k P series. All the AV nerds have been waiting for it since it was announced at CES in January. The Amazon page for it just went up so it should be released soon:

http://www.amazon.com/VIZIO-P702ui-B3-70-Inch-2160p-Full-Array/dp/B00LX4OOOA/ref=sr_1_9?s=tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1407809786&sr=1-9&keywords=tv

At $2,500 it's half the price of other 70" 4k TV's and can even rival the 1080p 70 inchers of some rivals. It's also Full Array Local Dimming for a better picture quality even if you're not running 4k sources.
