That would have to have been the Disney fireworks. Maybe you could hear them more clearly tonight than on most nights because of air pressures/weather changes? And what is 5 Vegas?

Hi mama, I know that wasn't the Disney fireworks. The Disney fireworks are usually very faint compared to what I heard earlier. The sound was coming from the direction of Northpark Square or near that high school just before the 5 freeway.



It may have been someone throwing a party but the fireworks were just ridiculously loud and continuous.



A 5 Vegas is one of the best handrolled cigars money can buy. Great smoke for a great price.
 
I could see them from my 2nd floor balcony in Woodbury. They weren't the Disney fireworks because, even though it was in the same general direction, these were much larger and higher in the sky. I could see the Disney fireworks at the same time, lower and to the right. These new ones were too far away to be from Irvine, but definitely closer than Anaheim. They started and ended about the same time as the Disney fireworks, about 9:35 - 9:45.
