Santa Ana is now a sanctuary city for undocumented residents

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
How do you figure that? Most of the workers that I comes across, that does constructions for my landscapes and other home related works are from Riverside.

I guess it's now official.  They've always been a sanctuary city, however.

Glad I moved out of that shithole.

The main thing that pushed us out was that they told us our kids elementary school classes would be taught in Spanish.

Are you joking?
Nope, not joking at all.

That explains why some people can live in this country 25+ years and not learn one word of English. How does that affect state testing? Do they take those in spanish too?
Maybe I should tell my Caucasian ritzy friends living in some parts of OC that they don't need to fight to get their kids into these fancy spanish immersion programs at school...just move to Santa Ana. lol

Those schools would get rated 1-3 out of 10 consistently.

California made it illegal when Arnold was gov.  Santa Ana continued to do it, though, as they found some sort of sneaky loopholes to get around it.  It was still probably illegal but they probably weren't challenged.

Anyways, our voters just made it legal again...

LOL ...  To do what? Education is left up to the states. Most extreme thing the federal government could do is place restrictions on federal grants but then again, the state would have the option to opt-out rather than accommodate the imposed conditions.

Seems many of the sanctuary cities are each setting millions of taxpayer dollars to fight potential Trump policies on illegal immigration.

Given how resentful Trump is, I'm pretty sure CA is going to get the federal shaft in the near future. I wonder how many of those infrastructure $$ will end up coming our way ...

LOL, your tax dollars have been used for a long time to defend accused criminals in court. It's enshrined in our Constitution.

An easy thing for trump is to allocate federal funds for the bullet train.
