So like San Marcos in Stonegate, Laguna Altura's San Remo gets a Plan 3X.
It's basically the same as the Plan 3 but has a front entrance and an additional half bath downstairs. It's a better floorplan than the Plan 3 because of the extra half bath (in my opinion) but it has the worst location. From what I remember, these motorcourt homes are done in pairs of 3s... with the Plan 1 at the end (the "cul-de-sac"), the Plan 2 in the middle and the Plan 3 at the entrance end (the "corner lot"). So location-wise, the Plan 1 and Plan 2 have are the best with only one verycloselikethis neighbor, but the Plan 2 is sort of boxed in.
To combat that, I think they are replacing Plan 2s with Plan 3Xs so you get the extra bed/bath downstairs (the popular FCB in-law suite) like they did in San Marcos. And for more incentive, even though it's slightly bigger than the Plan 3 (and has that extra half-bath), it's priced more like a Plan 2.
So would you take the little kid seat for that extra bed and bathroom downstairs?
