Sam's Club, the warehouse store owned by Wal-Mart Inc., is now selling wine, spirits and beer online via its Click n' Pull program.
The online booze selection is not as big as the 3,000 offerings available at Sam's Club warehouses. However, starting this week, about 1,000 items are now available for purchase on the chain's website.
The Click n' Pull program allows Sam's Club members to shop by club location and order ahead. Orders placed by 5 p.m. can be picked up the following day. (Tip: OCR wine columnist/Booze on a Budget blogger Paul Hodgins says the Greg Norman Cabernet-Merlot "is a worthwhile wine" buy at Sam's Club)
