Steam kettle cooking, now in the OC.  Never tried the Oyster Bar (http://www.yelp.com/biz/oyster-bar-las-vegas-2) at Palace Station in Vegas, heard the wait was DTF long.  Now there's one local, a block away from SCP.  We got the House pan roast, which has lobster, schrimp, clams.  The sauce is a very heavy tomato cream.  Too rich for my taste after a few swigs.  The rice that comes with it helps a bit but it was dry and hard (how do you mess up rice?).  Also got some fried pickles which I always wanted to try and will get again.

Beignets

We'll be back for sure, maybe split a pan roast, get some appetizers.  For non-seafood lovers, there are also chicken and sausage options.  The cioppino looks interesting as well and should be a lighter fare than the pan roast.  Get bar seating if you don't mind dangling, you get to see your food being cooked right in front of you.  Too bad counter height dining doesn't work for my lower back and my kid.

Oh did I forget to mention the beignets are the best I ever had?  Airy fluffy fried dough with a chocolate mousse to smother on.  Not a big dessert dude but this one got me hooked.
